Reflections: Look Within

This year’s theme is “Look Within”, using the arts to share your personAL Reflections. 

but… How do I “Look Within”?

1. Introspection means “to look inside,” and describes the act of thinking about your own actions or inner thoughts.

2. Let’s try it! close your eyes and think about your own actions and inner thoughts.

3. on a piece of blank paper write or sketch out something that represents what you do, say, think or feel and how it affects your life and the lives of others, that’s introspection!

4. add all the details you can, including color.

5. be sure to add your name and code on the back of your sketch. we will talk more about your ideas together in the next class.

PARTICIPATION IS EASY, EXCITING AND EMPOWERING.

All student entries must adhere to the following guidelines:

• Each entry must be the original work of one student only

• A student may create their entry inside or outside of school

• A student may submit entries in more than one category

• Student entries must include a title and artist statement that communicates their inspiration for the work and how it relates to this year’s theme “LOOK WITHIN”
