Recycling Calendar Contest

What does reduce, reuse, recycle mean to you?

The City of Fairview Park is holding an artwork contest designed to capture what this theme means to Fairview Park students.

Winning artwork will be featured in the City’s NEW Recycling Calendar!

Examples of photographs or drawings include those that show how students repurpose objects, reduce waste, or recycle. Fairview Park students grades K-12 are eligible for this contest and a winner from each grade will be selected.

Entries are due by MAY 26th.

Incomplete entries will not be accepted.

Contest Rules

  1. Show how you can REPURPOSE OBJECTS, REDUCE WASTE, OR RECYCLE.

  2. Any art medium can be used such as markers, pencils, crayons, paint OR PHOTOGRAPHY.

  3. DRAWINGS Must BE ON white paper.

  4. Submit your artwork in landscape format (side to side).

  5. turn in your artwork on seesaw.

Any art medium may be used, such as computer art, markers, pencils,
crayons, paint, or photography.
 Artwork submissions must be photographed or scanned and then
emailed. Please see the right side bar for instructions.
 If a person’s face is used in the photo, the artist must have the
individual’s permission.
 High resolution digital images (150 dpi or higher) sized between
5.5”x8.5” and 11”x17”, and in landscape orientation are preferred.
 Artwork that does not adhere to the rules may be disqualified.
 All submissions become property of the City of Fairview Park.
