This year you will learn many things about art.

Art is a special way of sharing your ideas and emotions.

It is a way to share the way you feel, imagine, remember and see.

Artwork is created so that people will see things in a new or special way.

An original design is new, interesting or different from anything else.

Everything you see or imagine can be your inspiration for a new artwork.

1. Imagine you could come to school in a new or unusual way.

Are you going to ride a tiger to school? Swim in on the back of a walleye? Arrive in a carriage pulled by unicorns? How about on the back of a giant chicken?

Draw a picture of this unique form of transportation.

2. Make sure you have an original idea, something no one else is drawing. Use your imagination to think about something new, unusual, never or rarely seen in real-life

3. USE YOUR IPAD OR PAPER TO SKETCH OUT YOUR IDEA.

4. FILL UP THE ENTIRE PAGE WITH DETAILS AND COLOR.

5. UPLOAD AN IMAGE OF YOUR WORK TO SEESAW WHEN YOU ARE DONE!
