Who: Keith L. Scott
What: Protests
Where: Charlotte North Carolina
When: Wednesday
Why: Shooting

On the afternoon of Tuesday, September 19, Keith L. Scott was shot four times by police. The police state that Mr. Scott held a weapon and “posed an imminent deadly threat.” Later Mr. Scott’s family said that he had a book and was going to pick up his child. Protest for the shooting started on Tuesday and turned ugly late into the night. Protesters looted trucks on interstate 85 and clashed with police. Police then protected a Walmart from the protesters after they left the highway.

In my opinion protesters should not loot and try to burn down Walmarts because they are mad, they have every right to be mad but not to to harm to property or person.

I learned that there was another shooting in America to a black man from a white police officer.

This impacts the black community most, but also impacts police and America in general too.

Why was Keith L. Scott being in his car a deadly threat?
Why did protesters try to attack a Walmart?
How is this shooting trial going to be different from others?
