French And Indian War Notes

Road to Revolution power-point (this is an excellent power-point outlining the events leading to the American Revolution).

The Road to Revolution 1763-1775 (another informational power-point)

1.  How did the conclusion of the French & Indian War and the Treaty of Paris (1763) contribute to the reorganizing of the British Empire (specifically in North America). 4.  What specific British regulations and taxes do you feel most led to colonial discontent and the start of the Revolutionary War?  Explain.

5.  What impact did the Enlightenment have on the colonists the movement toward protest and eventually revolt?

6.  In your opinion, did the American colonists have the right to revolt?  Explain.

7.  Do you view the eventual American Revolution as “Revolutionary” or “Evolutionary” in nature?  Was it inevitable that the colonists would eventually want independence?  Was conflict inevitable?  Explain.
