COLOR & Light: Crayon Resist Paintings

  1. Use your drawing from the last Project. 

  2. CHECK TO MAKE SURE ANYTHING THAT SHOULD BE WHITE IS COLORED IN WITH CRAYON. PRESS DOWN HARD WITH YOUR CRAYON.

  3. Brush on the paint lightly. Don’t scrub the paper too hard. TRY TO PAINT OVER THE CRAYON AND SEE THE WAX RESIST OR PUSH AWAY THE WATER.

  4. Put your crayon resist painting on the drying rack. RETURN TO YOUR TABLE AND HELP CLEAN-UP.

  5. WASH YOUR HANDS AND PUT AWAY YOUR ART APRON.

  • fireflies or lighting bugs in your backyard

  • Halloween pumpkins lined up on the porch
