Painting: Using a Paintbrush
1. Paint a large white shape, some dots and different kinds of lines.
2. Now wash your brush, wipe it on the edge and blot it.
3. Put a tiny amount of black on your brush, then mix it into the large white shape.
4. Brush the colors to make gray.
5. Experiment with new brush strokes and mixing new kinds of gray.
EXTENSIONS:
SCIENCE AND ART: USE FOOD COLORING IN RED, YELLOW AND BLUE.
PLACE WATER IN THREE OR FOUR CLEAR PLASTIC CONTAINERS.
PLACE A DROP OF RED AND A DROP OF YELLOW FOOD COLORING INTO THE WATER.
