Drawing: Art in Your World

1. You will draw a self-portrait.

A self-portrait is a picture of you!

2. Stand up. Move your head around, blink your eyes, wiggle your nose, open your mouth, lift your arms, bend your elbows and wrists, bend at the waist, lift each knee, wiggle your ankles and toes.

3. SKETCH OUT YOUR IDEA ON PAPER OR IPAD. There is plenty of you! Fill up the whole page. Draw your whole body including details like your clothes.

4. After you draw your portrait, add MORE DETAILS LIKE your family, pets or even your house!

5. UPLOAD AN IMAGE OF YOUR DRAWING TO SEESAW WHEN YOU ARE DONE.

Think of other things you do. Act it out.

What about getting ready for school, or brushing your teeth?

What about playing your favorite game?

How is your body different when you do your favorite activity?
