Government – “The Gun Debate” – Ted Talk Activity

After watching TWO of the brief Ted Talks on Gun Violence/Laws in our nation create a google doc and write a paragraph (5-7 sentences) or two, giving your personal reaction to each. Both videos must be referenced in one way or another in your response. Be sure to comment on how each speakers speech impacts your stance on guns in our nation. Comment on major points that either speaker made which you feel either strengthened or weakened your personal position on this matter.

Dr. Cassandra Crifasi – Surprising Facts a Gun Owner Discovered In Her Research (insightful research on gun ownership and ways to safeguard our lives while protecting gun owner’s rights)

Dan Gross – Why Gun Violence Can’t Be Our New Normal (argues for stricter more common sense gun laws in our nation)
