The faces of people can show feelings of happiness or sadness. People can look afraid, angry, puzzled, happy or sad. Many artists create pictures about people. The people may be young, old, beautiful or… not.

Look at these pictures of people. Three are photographs an artist made with a camera. One is a drawing that an artist made. Can you tell which pictures are photographs and which one is a drawing? How?

  2. CHOOSE A FEELING OR EMOTION TO SHOW AN EXPRESSIVE DRAWING OF A PERSON OR CHARACTER. USE YOUR PHOTOS AND RESEARCH OF EMOTIONS TO Draw the face of a real or imaginary person.

  3. USE PAPER OR IPAD TO Try to draw the face so that it shows a strong feeling.

  4. ADD DETAILS AND COLOR TO FINISH YOUR EXPRESSIVE PORTRAIT.
