US History – Follow Up to “The Crucible of Empire” – The Spanish American War Video

Now that you have completed the video, and answered the discussion questions you are to write a follow up reaction paper to what you learned.  This short essay will be based on your answers and your peers answers to the questions asked during the video.  Select two questions asked of you while viewing the movie (of your choice) to discuss.  You task is to compare the answers of two students (not your own) who expressed different views on that particular question.  Comment on the differences in their answers (paragraph one).  Then compare and contrast their answers to that of your own (paragraph two).  Then follow this same process for another question asked.  So you will ultimately be responsible for at least 4 paragraphs in your reaction to the video.  Be sure to specify the question being asked in each of your responses.
