Maurice de Vlaminck was born on April 4th, 1876 in paris, france. he was a French painter. he is considered one of the principal figures in the Fauve movement. Along with André Derain and Henri Matisse, they formed group of modern artists known as “the wild beasts” who used of intense color in their paintings. he also painted in the post-impressionist and cubist styles.
