Art Show: Displaying Your Best Artwork

Artists often show their best work at festivals, galleries or museums. They plan their art show, carefully choosing where each piece will be displayed. They frame their best artwork and mount it on the wall. 3-D objects like sculptures are put on pedestals or stands.

Each work of art has a label. The label tells the name of the artist and the title. The label can also include other important information about the artwork, like what type of materials were used to create the artwork.

Have you ever been to an art show? Where do the artists in our community have art shows?
