Community Helpers: The focus of the unit is that children will learn about the role of the community in their lives and the importance of good citizenship!
This week for our unit on Community Helpers, we will be learning about the Fireman and how they take care of us in our neighborhood. We will have a visit from Mr. Adam Shulte who works for the Elyria Fire Dept. He will share with all the children what he wears, how he handles a fire and how children can protect themselves from getting hurt in fire. It should be very fun to see a real fireman.
