Student Showcase

At our school, we are having a student showcase. This is our chance to show what we have worked hard on and are most proud of.   We were told to select two items that we had made during the first semester,  atleast one of which had to be curricular. I chose to showcase my Geometric Figures preformance task from math and a drawing I made as a sketchbook in art.

Here is a picture of my Geometric Figures preformance task.  I am proud of this piece of work because I scored a 5 on this performance task and 5 is the number equivalent to an A+ on Summit Learning. I had originally thought that this was a hard project, especially with all the formulas to remember, but I surprised myself and scored even higher than I thought I would. I was very proud of my score on this project and hope that I can do this well on my other projects!

Here is my drawing of the American Flag that I created in art class. I am proud of this piece of work because it is very detailed and looks almost exactly like the one I based it off of. When I brought it to school to turn it in, many other students were saying it was a really good drawing. Mrs. Clouse graded 10 out of 10 and even wrote gorgeous on the back of it. I definitely think that this was my best sketchbook assignment of the semester.
