Project – Collage: Using Your Imagination

1. Find your collage.

2. Rotate your collage to think of a new idea.

3. Ask your friends what they can think of.

4. Pick the position you like best.

5. Add shapes and lines to your collage with crayons.

Extensions

Drawing: Try this project again. Draw 3 or 4 geometric shapes. Rotate your paper until you get a good idea. Add details to complete your drawing.

Nature: Look up at the clouds. Search for shapes and outlines that resemble real or imaginary things. Make a drawing based on the clouds you see.

Self-Confidence: Repeat this project using using torn paper shapes instead of cut paper shapes.

Social Studies: Talk about the way people may use their imaginations at work. Creating new video games, writing songs, performing an interpretive dance, writing a poem or telling stories.
