This is an example of a DNA molecule. The pieces with white things going into the center represent the nucleotide Adenine, the pieces with the black things going into the center represent the nucleotide Thymine, the pieces with green things going into the center represent the nucleotide Cytosine, and the pieces with silver things going into the center represent the nucleotide Guanine. Adenine bonds with thymine, and cytosine bonds with guanine.

2. I really liked the activity we did in the Learning Center, it was extremely interesting and I feel that I learned a lot from it. I liked getting to watch the woman act out the entire thing, instead of just having people tell us the information. It was really interactive, and I liked it a lot.
3. I really wasn’t aware that there was still slavery, these activities opened my eyes to what’s actually happening in the world today. The experience definitely made it feel more real.
4. People are held back form escaping slavery mostly due to threats, fear, and the fact that they don’t know where to go outside of where they’ve been kept.

This is a song that I coded using a program called EarSketch.

In this activity, our objective was to dilate 2-D pictures. We used math like dilations, using a compass, plotting points, and more. I really liked my flower, however, I think my cartoon character looked a little scary. If I did this again, I would’ve made sure everything was lined up, because the cartoon character ended up being slightly off-scale.
