This past summer, a planet similar to Earth was discovered. After monitoring the star systems around this planet, they found that the stars were beginning to dim. Stars dim naturally, but this system of stars was dimming at an unnatural rate.
Dilations.
In this activity, our objective was to dilate 2-D pictures. We used math like dilations, using a compass, plotting points, and more. I really liked my flower, however, I think my cartoon character looked a little scary. If I did this again, I would’ve made sure everything was lined up, because the cartoon character ended up being slightly off-scale.
