Shapes: Making a Collage

Ronald Ahlstrom, Untitled. (N.D.)

This artwork has many shapes.

Name the shapes you see.

You will make a collage of shapes.

A collage is a picture that has paper shapes.

Do you know how to cut and paste paper?

Safety counts.

Cut slowly.

Glue the edges. “Just a dot, not a lot.”

Place the shapes on your background paper.

Press down gently and smooth out the paper to make sure it sticks.
